Help Often Week: Empathy In Action

Inspired by the American Empathy Project, Sunday Assembly USA is proud to center our third annual Help Often Week on a core tenet of our values: empathy.

Whether you are 🥙 feeding people in need, 🏠 providing supplies so families can keep a stable home, 🦆 cleaning up the environment in your area, or 🗳️ advocating for change via letter-writing campaigns, you are practicing empathy for others. Maybe that care is towards someone familiar; maybe it’s for a stranger; or maybe it’s aiding the plants and animals around us. Go where your heart takes you.

All Sunday Assembly chapters around the world are called to join in Help Often Week from April 25th to May 3rd, 2026! Host an event big or small where you put the “Help Often” part of our motto to use. When a single person has the courage and drive to plan a gathering, that good is met and amplified by our network of local communities.
